Boxxle II, released in Japan as Sokoban 2 (倉庫番2), is a puzzle game developed by Atelier Double and released in 1990 for the Nintendo Game Boy handheld.

Overview[]

Boxxle II plays much like its predecessor, featuring a collection of 119 unique Sokoban puzzles. Much like in the previous game a cutscene is played after every ten levels.

Story[]

Japanese Version[]

A year has passed since then. Part-timer and Miki-chan were on a fun date at Yokohama Bay Bridge. But a dark shadow sneaks upon the happy couple.

"Oh no!"

"Miki!"

Part-timer's cries are in vain, as Miki-chan is taken away beyond the stars.

"That's it! I'll buy a rocket and rescue Miki-chan!"

He no longer has the mental fortitude to feel sorry for himself for not being able to escape the life of a warehouseman.

English Version[]

Time has passed since Willy, our warehouse hero, has won the heart of his sweetheart Wanda. They are enjoying a date on the boardwalk tonight when suddenly a dark shadow creeps up behind the happy couple.

"Hey Wanda!"

Willy calls out, but it is too late. Wanda has been captured by aliens and taken away deep into space.

"I know! I'll buy a rocket to go and save her." he thinks. Rockets aren't cheap so he must work overtime in the warehouse. Alas, Willy does not realize what a difficult task lies ahead of him.
