Boxy Boy, released in Japan as Sokoban World (倉庫番WORLD) is a puzzle game developed by Media Ring and released in 1990 for the NEC TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine.
Overview[]
Boxy Boy features a collection of 250 Sokoban levels. The game features a world tour theme, with each set of 20 levels being themed after a different country and alternating between five different playable characters.
The game utilizes a zoomed-in view of the mazes, with the camera moving along with the player. At any point the player can pause the game and choose the MAP option to get a full view of the maze, or hold select to freely move the camera around.
