Sokoban 2 (倉庫番2) is a puzzle game published by Thinking Rabbit and released in 1984 in Japan. It was distributed in cassette tape format for the NEC PC-8001 mk2, PC-6001, Hitachi S-1, Sharp X1 and Fujitsu FM-7 personal computers, and in 5-inch floppy disk format for the IBM JX, B16, NEC PC-8801 and PC-9801 personal computers.
Overview[]
Sokoban 2 plays much like its predecessor, featuring more complex puzzles compared to the original and ditching the false wall mechanic from the first game completely. It features a total of 50 Sokoban puzzles.
This version served as the basis for the later Soko-Ban, which was released by Spectrum Holobyte for western computers.
